Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

At our school, we believe in providing every student with the tools they need to succeed, regardless of their abilities. With your support, we aim to bring Sphero Robots into our 5th-grade special education department, revolutionizing the way our students engage with learning.

These Sphero Robots aren't just toys – they're educational tools that will transform our classroom into an interactive, dynamic learning environment.

By programming and controlling these robots, our students will develop essential skills in coding, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Our goals for this project are ambitious yet achievable. We aim to:

Foster a love for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects among our students.

Improve their computational thinking skills through hands-on, experiential learning.

Boost their confidence and sense of achievement as they see their code come to life through the actions of the Sphero Robots.

Enhance their social skills by promoting collaboration and communication during group activities with the robots.

What makes our students special is their resilience, creativity, and unique perspectives. Despite facing challenges, they approach every day with determination and enthusiasm. With the addition of Sphero Robots to our classroom, we can tap into their potential even further, providing them with opportunities to shine and succeed in ways they may never have imagined.
