Unlocking Potential: Essential Calculators for Math Mastery
Help me give my students TI-84 graphing calculators in order to practice for their APCalc exam! By providing these calculators, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of mathematical principles, improve problem-solving skills, and boost overall academic confidence.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom, we strive to provide every student with the tools they need to excel in mathematics and science. To enhance our learning experience, I am seeking funding for 5 graphing calculators and 10 scientific calculators.
Many of our students come from diverse backgrounds and may not have access to these essential tools at home.
Graphing calculators are particularly crucial for our AP Calculus students, allowing them to explore complex concepts, analyze functions, and visualize data effectively. Meanwhile, the scientific calculators will assist all students in mastering fundamental math and science skills.
By providing these calculators, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of mathematical principles, improve problem-solving skills, and boost overall academic confidence. With your support, we can create a more equitable learning environment and inspire our students to reach their full potential.
