My Project
Unlocking Possibilities: High School Coding Exploration is a project designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of computer programming in an engaging, hands-on way. By learning to code, students will not only develop problem-solving and logical thinking skills, but also gain confidence as creators of technology rather than just consumers. This project will allow students to experiment with different programming languages and tools, working on real-world challenges and collaborative projects that make abstract concepts concrete and meaningful.
I plan to use coding activities at the end of the semester to broaden students’ understanding of computers and technology, giving them the practical skills needed for today’s digital world.
Our classroom is made up of a diverse group of learners with unique strengths and experiences, and coding offers opportunities for every student to shine, regardless of their background. This project will help close opportunity gaps by providing access to valuable tech skills, fostering creativity, and preparing all students for future academic and career success in an increasingly technology-driven society.
