My Project

Our Adult Transition Team has the privilege of partnering with a remarkable group of young adults who work diligently each day to create their own path towards independence and self-sufficiency. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, each with their own set of unique abilities and challenges. However, what unites them is their commitment to learning, growing, and achieving their individual goals. Within our program, the need for technology is paramount

With immediate access to our community through technology like iPads, our students can begin to bridge the gap between where they are and where they aspire to be.

These versatile tools serve as their connection to the real world, enabling them to access crucial resources and to participate in the digital age.

More than that, iPads will allow our students to embark on a journey of community engagement. They will use this technology to create a school small business, gaining firsthand experience in entrepreneurship. They will simulate job processes, honing their skills to make them job-ready and competent, while also actively contributing to our school community and beyond. The iPads will be their link to the community, facilitating their participation in events, exploring volunteer opportunities, and making lasting connections.

With your support, these iPads will be the catalyst for independence and real-world skills in our exceptional students. Our students have eagerly brainstormed different ways we can serve our community utilizing this technology, such as creating district wide coffee carts, making t-shirts, and more! These tools will empower them to become independent, capable community members. We sincerely thank you for being a part of this transformation!
