Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are hardworking, determined, and eager to succeed despite the challenges they face. Many are first generation college-bound students navigating the complex process of job applications, Financial Aid (FAFSA), and college admission on their own. They are motivated to build brighter futures, and I want to ensure they have the necessary tools to do so.
The laptop and mouse I'm requesting will provide them with reliable technology to complete applications, research career opportunities, and develop essential digital skills.
Many students lack access to a personal computer, making it difficult to meet deadlines and fully engage in these critical tasks. With this technology, they can work on resumes, submit financial aid forms, and apply for jobs efficiently.
My goal for this project is to eliminate barriers that prevent students from accessing opportunities. By providing a laptop and mouse, I can help them take meaningful steps toward college and career readiness.
What makes my students special is their resilience and determination. They refuse to let obstacles define their future, and with the right resources, I know they will thrive. This project will empower them to take charge of their goal and open doors to new possibilities.
