My Project
My students are bright, curious, and full of potential. What makes them special isn't just their determination—it's their deep hunger for knowledge and the joy they find in discovering new ideas. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique voices to our classroom. With the right tools, they can grow into confident, capable readers and writers.
This project will provide essential literacy tools—books, journals, literacy games, pens, erasers, and headphones—that support reading, writing, and focused learning in our classroom.
Books will reflect my students’ cultures and experiences, helping them see themselves in what they read. Literacy games will make reading fun and build foundational skills through play. Journals, pens, and erasers will support self-expression and revision, showing students that every voice matters and mistakes are part of growth. Headphones will allow students to focus during independent literacy work, especially those who need a quiet space to thrive.
My goal is to make literacy meaningful, engaging, and culturally relevant. These materials will help meet students where they are and guide them as they grow into joyful, lifelong learners.
