My Project
I am incredibly fortunate to work with a group of bilingual third graders who are enthusiastic, curious, and passionate about learning. What makes them truly special is their resilience and the unique ability to navigate between two languages every day. They thrive when given opportunities to engage with materials that reflect their diverse backgrounds, and they are always eager to expand their knowledge. I am constantly amazed by their determination and the creativity they bring to every lesson.
This project will provide my students with a variety of books that will help them strengthen their reading skills in both English and Spanish.
The specific books in this project will make a huge difference in their learning by offering rich, age-appropriate content that supports their literacy development in both languages. With these resources, my goal is to foster a love of reading while building their vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency. By providing engaging materials in both languages, I hope to create a classroom environment where every student feels empowered to learn and grow.
