My Project
In my 8th-grade English Language Arts classroom, I strive to create an engaging learning environment where students can actively participate in their education.
My goal is to make learning memorable and meaningful by incorporating innovative activities that not only reinforce key ELAR concepts but also foster critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving.
This project will provide materials to create escape room challenges that connect directly to our ELAR curriculum including locks. Students will work together to solve puzzles and decode clues based on their understanding of themes, figurative language, plot structure, and other literary elements. By participating in these activities, they will build confidence in their abilities while engaging in hands-on, student-led learning. This project will bring excitement and creativity to our classroom, giving students in a Title I school the tools they need to succeed academically and beyond.
