My Project
Reading is the foundation for lifelong learning, yet many students struggle to master this critical skill in traditional classroom settings. As an Intervention Specialist , I work with students who face significant challenges in reading. These learners require targeted, multi-sensory approaches to literacy instruction to help them unlock their potential and build confidence as readers. To achieve this, I am seeking funding for phonics poetry and fluency resources that will make literacy accessible and engaging for every child.
Phonics poetry and fluency resources provide a structured yet creative way to teach foundational reading skills, while fostering a love of language and storytelling.
These materials will be integrated into small-group intervention sessions and individualized lessons, allowing students to experience reading in a supportive, multi-sensory environment that caters to their unique needs. These tools are crucial for bridging the gap between where these students are and where they need to be to thrive academically.
