Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will provide me with Teachers Pay Teachers (TpT) gift cards, allowing me to purchase engaging, standards-aligned resources specifically tailored to my students' needs in science and math. With these TpT resources, I will be able to access interactive lessons, escape rooms, task cards, and review games to reinforce difficult math topics like ratios, fractions, and expressions. Access to TPT resources will also provide hands-on, inquiry-based science resources and investigations aligned with our curriculum on topics like energy, weather, cells and body systems.

By funding this project, you’re giving me the tools to be more responsive to my students’ needs and helping create a classroom where all students can thrive with the right resources at the right time.

TpT allows me to instantly download resources that address learning gaps, challenge advanced learners, and make lessons more interactive and fun. This flexibility is especially important when students need immediate support or fresh ways to stay motivated.

My classroom is filled with energetic, curious 6th graders who are eager to learn but often need extra support and creative approaches to grasp complex math and science concepts. Many of my students come from underserved communities and rely heavily on our school for access to quality educational tools and experiences.

These TpT materials are created by experienced teachers who understand what works best in real classrooms. They save time and increase student engagement with lessons that are clear, creative, and ready to use. This project will help me meet my students where they are by providing high-quality resources that spark curiosity and make abstract concepts more accessible. By using TpT materials to supplement our existing curriculum, I can tailor instruction to fit my students' learning styles, boost their confidence, and help close learning gaps in both math and science.
