My Project
My students are curious, creative, and eager to explore the world through reading. They love solving puzzles, making connections, and diving into stories that transport them to different times and places. Many of them don’t have access to a variety of books at home, so I strive to create an engaging and immersive reading experience in our classroom.
I am requesting copies of Detectives in Togas to bring history to life for my students.
This engaging mystery novel set in ancient Rome blends historical events with an exciting detective story, keeping students captivated while they learn. Through this book, students will build reading comprehension, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills as they analyze clues and uncover the truth alongside the characters.
Having a class set of this novel will allow my students to read together, discuss themes, and engage in activities that make learning hands-on. We will use the book to strengthen literacy skills through shared reading and discussion. We will develop logical reasoning and inference-making skills through detective work. We will gain a deeper understanding of ancient Roman culture, government, and daily life. We will encourage collaboration through group discussions and role-playing activities.
