Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Each school year for two cycles our students are given a chance to choose a cluster that they would like to explore for an eight-week period. They learn and grow and then are given the opportunity to showcase to their parents all they have learned. The supplies the Cricut maker and the materials that I am requesting for my students I am hoping will allow them to explore their creative side. They will be able to learn about creating designs and seeing those designs come to life, maybe on a t-shirt, or a cup for a parent or friend. This will give students that may not always have success academically, the chance to achieve something he or they can be proud of and transfer that success in trying to improve academically.
The donations to this project will help to improve my students' creativity which can be transferred into every area of their lives.
By implementing clusters into our curriculum students are given the chance to have a voice in an area that will allow them the ability to explore and learn about something that is of true interest to them. We will use these materials to aid us in the process of becoming creative thinkers and doers. I truly need your support to bring these supplies to them.
