My Project
Fidget toys offer a multifaceted approach to enhancing student focus and behavior in my classroom. My students will be able to use fidget toys to reduce distractions and improve concentration, especially for my students who struggle with attention regulation. Furthermore, they will used as positive reinforcement for good behavior which creates a motivating environment, encourages my students to actively participate and engage in class. When emotions run high, fidgets serve as a calming mechanism, allowing them to self-regulate and return to a state of readiness for learning. During rainy days, students will engage in board games, promoting teamwork and problem-solving, while taking a break from Chromebooks.
My goals for this project are to improve student focus, enhance emotional regulation, foster creativity, and build essential social skills.Many require additional support in managing their focus, regulating their emotions, and developing problem-solving skills.
These fidget toys and board games will provide them with essential tools to navigate the challenges of the classroom. The specific items I'm requesting will make a direct difference by creating a more engaging and supportive learning environment. Ultimately, I want to empower my students to become confident, resilient learners who are equipped to succeed both academically and personally. What makes my students special is their unique blend of creativity, resilience, and potential. They are eager to learn and grow, and with the right tools and support, they can achieve remarkable things.
