This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help my students have access to a larger classroom library. I have chosen books that include fun characters and powerful messages to help them develop a good relationship with books. I hope that these books will provide relatable situations and characters and establish a love of reading.

Because many these books have repetitive language, my students will be able to unlock the many important life lessons with a greater amount of independence.

Almost all of my students are below grade level readers and tapping into their interests is vital. These books will surely be a great start!

This project also includes floating shelves to display these books.
