This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These fun games and materials focus on essential 2nd grade vowels and CVC words that help build a strong foundation in reading phonics. These will be used during our small group centers so students feel more independent in their ELA skills.

Understanding vowels and CVC words will help my students decode and read words more easily, especially since the majority of my students are English Language Learners.

These fun activities will be a key step in developing their skills to blend, read, and spell to help them become more confident readers!
