My Project

By incorporating the digital realm and merging technology in an elementary art classroom, students can explore and develop techniques, skills, and craftsmanship while making art that is personal to them. The Acer Chromebook Tab 510 10.1" Qualcomm Snapdragon would allow my students to keep a digital portfolio of their art accomplishments throughout their journey from beginning to the completed piece.

Students would have the opportunity to document, describe, and express each phase of their art through video and pictures in a digital presentation.

By creating digital portfolios using the Acer Chromebook Tab 510 10.1" Qualcomm Snapdragon tablets, students will be able to collaborate with their peers and express their ideas through their portfolios. The students in my elementary school will be preparing for a family art night where they will be able to present their work for their families and friends through their digital portfolios.

Half of the student population comes from low-income households. These students love coming to school and using technology in a safe environment where they feel free to explore and create their ideas through art and without judgement. With the purchase of these Acer Chromebooks, students' art education will be elevated as high as their imaginations will allow!
