My Students

I teach second-graders in one of the best rural schools in Oklahoma! My students are amazing, inquisitive, and eager to learn. Although some may have difficult lives, my students come to school with smiles on their faces. They are supportive and cheer each other to success. Half of them go to Title I reading, 30 minutes every day, for extra help.

My students are special because they have curiosity, creativity, compassion, and positive attitudes.

They are leaders who show love, compassion, kindness, and bravery. They are truly amazing people. My school is wonderfully supportive of the active, hands-on learning that we do in our classroom. I couldn't ask for a better environment for these students. We are truly a community!

My Project

My students will be learning about unity in my classroom. I will divide my students into teams and they will create a team shirt about unity. Their design has to support their unity initiative in our classroom. For example, they will learn that people may come in different sizes, color, or shapes, but we are all one human family. So one team may design their shirt, using royality free pictures of different people, and print it using this sublimation printer.

Our world will be a better place when we learn to live and learn together in unity.

This sublimation printer would make it easier for my students to print their unity initiative because they can print a multi-color design and aren’t having to cut layers of heat transfer vinyl. What better way to teach the world about unity than by wearing a unity initiative shirt. This sublimation printer will help do that!
