This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love how unique, curious, and proud my students are of who they are. Each child brings a special story, culture, and perspective into our classroom, and I want them to know that their racial and ethnic differences are not just accepted—they are celebrated. With your generous support, I am asking for handheld games, party favors, and a powerful book that highlights the beauty in our differences. These resources will be used during our International Day celebration to create joyful, affirming experiences that let every student feel seen, valued, and proud of their identity. In a world that often overlooks the voices of children from diverse backgrounds, this project is a small but powerful act of racial justice. The toys will allow them to play, share, and connect while learning that our differences make us stronger. Please help me give my students the tools to celebrate who they are, to shine in their skin, and to feel the love and unity they deserve. Your donation is not just giving a toy—it’s giving a message of representation, inclusion, and empowerment.
