This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I feel one of my biggest responsibility's is to maintain the inventory of our clothing closet. On a daily basis the school nurse and I are helping our students with uniforms due to accidents. and just not having a uniform to wear. Our school has an at-risk rate in the 90's and its a struggling community. I weekly go to the thrift stores to find clothing articles for the closet, but the even those are limited.

The children are very thankful when we can help with a clean uniform and a pair of shoes.
