it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This past week a young lady approached me if we had any extra bottoms/pants due to an unexpected emergency. Unfortunately, neither I, the health teacher nor the school had extra pant bottoms to provide to the student. As a result she had to resort to tying a sweater around her waist. This should not be happening. Accidents happen, spills and messes happen.
The stress and embarrassment that may come with it should not.
As the health teacher I have made it clear to all students regardless of gender that they can count on me for any of their hygiene needs. Having extra pants and sweaters in all sizes for students who suffer a mishap helps me provide an additional layer of safety for the students in my class. We would greatly appreciate your contributions!
