This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Today's students wake up each day with so many different feelings and sometimes they are unable to express why they feel a certain way. These book titles were picked out so students can see themselves or the emotions/feelings they are dealing with.

Students of all ages love read-alouds, such as Be Mindful of Monsters and My Magical Feelings, and when an important life skill can be incorporated with a good story-this is when the magic happens!

It is important to teach social and emotional learning skills from an early age, so that they can carry these skills throughout their lives.
