Help me give my students a volcano eruption to see how new land is formed and how the rock cycle works. Using modeling clay to create mountains based on how the crust of the earth moves is amazing.

My Students
My students are some of the best around. They have big hearts and always want to help others who have less than they have, even when they don't have all they need for themselves.
I have between 40 and 44 students that come through my door every year.
They deserve a room that is filled with supplies to help them learn successfully. They should have as much for themselves as they would want others to have.
COVID-19 has put students at a behind the curve disadvantage with learning. They need supplies that will help them not only learn but retain information in a very "entertain me" type society. Hands-on learning experiences provide that entertainment they desire.
I have done some hands-on learning projects and they respond so well and retain so much more of the information when they get to experience the concepts first hand.
My Project
Earth science is very important for my students to learn. Some of the biggest hurdles and questions I get every year are " How are mountains made? Why do we have earthquakes? How does a volcano erupt?" While I try to make this information stick with them, it is hard for them to understand because it is so complex. Since COVID-19 they are missing some information they need because they haven't had the chance to be in a classroom setting and experiment with things to help them understand just written information.
I want to give them an experience that will not only stick with them but help them to comprehend and retain the awesome world in which we live.
I want students to no longer feel like they are behind the curve, but ahead of the curve when they get to the next grade. I want to make science a very real idea for them.
I can do this with items such as a volcano experiment. Another way is by having students use modeling clay to create different types of mountains based on how the crust of the earth moved/moves in that area. Please help me give this to my students.
