Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 8th graders have been learning about industrialization during the Gilded Age. Part of our curriculum covers Robber Barons and Captains of Industry. These games will be a fun and engaging way to help students experience first hand how those individuals created monopolies and the effects they had on others.

My classroom has a large population of English Language Learners who benefit from hands on learning.

These games will provide fun and engaging opportunities for them to live through the Gilded Age and experience the effects of monopolies first hand.

I love hosting lunch and learns for my students and what better way to learn than by playing this classic American boardgame. By purchasing several editions of this games I can offer more students the chance to play and engage in the learning process.
