My Project

These materials will help me develop and deliver a book study for educators, staff, and parents at our school. Aimed at understanding the impacts of trauma developmentally, participants will learn and discuss actionable and practical interventions for use with students who are experiencing behavioral difficulties for any number of reasons. Ultimately, the book study is an effort to provide a layman's understanding of how the human brain works and how we can support students and others who are struggling to safely manage and express emotions. The book study will reach teachers from Pre-K through 5th grade.
