This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our children have been given a very special and unique opportunity to be a part of a 4th-grade ski team and 5-week program at a local ski hill. However, due to everyday poverty issues, our students have many obstacles and challenges in school and in life. Proper clothing is a daily issue.

Thermal underwear sets will allow our students to embrace the cold winter weather in January and make this opportunity more meaningful.

With less emphasis on being cold, they can stay outdoors and make the most of their instruction.
