Ultimate Math Activity Center!

My students need the storage carts, pouches, paper, buzzers, spinners and number lines to easily access the differentiated math games and activities I create for them.

My Students

My students walk into my classroom every day excited and ready to learn. I teach at a Title I school in Miami where the majority of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.

They want to be in school because they know that a good education is the key to their future success.

My goal is to create an environment where I will be able to reach EVERY student at his or her level and help them meet or exceed mastery of EVERY mathematical standard.

My Project

My students will use the math activities center daily. The paper and laminating materials will be used to create and protect math games and activities. Each cart will house up to six different games and activities that correspond to the math standard(s) that is being remediated. I also requested game spinners, money trays, base ten blocks, number and fraction lines, and write and wipe math boards that will be incorporated into the games. Additionally, privacy partitions will allow students to work at their own pace without distraction.

Students only have about 15 to 20 minutes everyday to use the math center, so we need every second to count!

The games / activities will be housed in individual scrapbook cases. Each case will contain everything they need to practice their remediated math standard.
