My Students

What I love about my students is the impressionable qualities about them. These students have the opportunity to be impacted by a curriculum they have been missing their whole lives. Many of these students have not experienced general music class because my school hired me as a music teacher after not having one for multiple years.

Your gift could impact hundreds of students who come from many different backgrounds and need a diverse curriculum to support this.

I am incredibly hopeful that donors like you will have the power to benefit low income students at a large city school.

My Project

This project would allow my students to gain new, valuable experiences in a safe, classroom environment. Right now, since it's a new program, there are few resources and most definitely not a classroom set of instruments.

My students will really look forward to a new music curriculum if they are able to experiment with new instruments and songs.

I hope that you can help me get the resources my students need.

Outside of school, my students would not get the opportunity to try out instruments, such as ukuleles, because they lack the financial capacity on their own. Outside of school, my students also lack the ability to create positive group experiences like being in a ukulele group and performing for family, friends, and the community.
