My Project
Our school has a rich and diverse culture. This is my fifth year teaching here, and I have heard and seen the evidence of a thriving school community where the students are excited to learn and put all they have into their school time. The students are proud to help and learn from one another.
Using ukuleles in our classrooms would allow students to learn about other cultures while facilitating the application of reading music.
Ukuleles would allow students who are growing to learn to play a string instrument no matter the child's size.
Playing the ukulele would be a gateway to learning other string instruments, including guitar and orchestral strings. Ukuleles are a fun, easy way for students to be engaged and take reading music to another level for ages!
