My Project

Elementary music instruction is most impactful when students have exposure and experience with a variety of musical styles, cultures, and instruments. Ukuleles are a great way to get string instruments in students' hands. Ukulele instruction is sweeping the nation and is growing in classrooms throughout West Mighigan.

With a class set of ukuleles, all students can learn 4 easy chords to play along with just about any of their favorite songs!

Students are empowered to play songs. They enjoy listening to composers that look like themselves. Students will also be able to write their own songs, giving them the power to create music.
