This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Because I am at a Title I school, we unfortunately do not have many instruments. Ukuleles are a cheaper instrument to purchase for classrooms while also being incredibly fun to learn!
I will use these ukuleles in every class because it is an easier instrument to handle and learn.
It would be incredibly beneficial to have them for my classroom! Students in every grade---even those in kindergarten---can play a ukulele.
Ukuleles are a versatile instrument because of the way you can tune them and their low number of strings. They make for an excellent instrument to learn at the elementary level.
