Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are smart and determined. Even after learning through a pandemic, my students are constantly trying their best in everything they do. As a music teacher, one of the main goals I strive to teach our students is the ability to play an instrument, both as a soloist and with an ensemble. Playing an instrument it's a wonderful and rewarding experience as it teaches hard work, perseverance, teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and builds confidence.
Students will be able to sing and play the ukelele at the same time while putting into practice the music skills and terms we learn in class every day.
Ukeleles are a fun and exciting instrument that help connect and engage students through music.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
