The materials that we were donated have impacted all grades from kindergarten to grade 6 and even have been successfully used in our therapeutic classrooms. It is so impactful to have hands-on opportunities for students to learn the conceptual and visual understandings of mathematical concepts. We are deeply thankful for the donations we have received.\r\n\r\nEach classroom has access to a library of math manipulatives that can be shared among the school. The materials are stored in our teacher space so that multiple teachers have access to the needed materials.\r\n\r\nThe books were a huge hit for our students. We have access to texts that directly relate to our students math learning and students have asked to read these books on their own. Students enjoy the tables and have voiced their excitement to learn with their peers in a collaborative setting.
