My Students

Our students need extra motivation for going above and beyond. My students are great kids who love reading, playing, discovering new facts, and playing music! They come from different countries from around the world including Italy, Germany, Colombia, Chile, Spain, and Costa Rica.

They are a fantastic group, and we are having so much fun together.

Each student is provided an instrument by the district as we strive to offer instrumental music to each and every student.

We belong to a bilingual program where we learn English and Spanish, so everything we do in our class is in both languages. It is challenging and really exciting to see how students learn in both languages.

Additionally, I travel to 8 different schools, so your help and generosity will not only make a difference here but at eight other schools, too!

My Project

Instruments are always in need of repair. Sometimes a screw comes loose and I need a special screwdriver to fix it. A spring pops off and the spring tool will make it a lot easier to put back together. The fingernail polish is not to make my fingers shimmer, but to help instrumental students remember where to place their fingers on the keys. The tags will be used to tag broken instruments. And finally, the bags will be used to store everything nicely together at my 8 different schools.

We already bought it, so when it breaks, we need to fix it.

This will make keeping the proper repairs tools available at all eight of my schools and prevent me from leaving the tools in another building.
