Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With these keyboards, our students will be able to build proper keyboarding habits. Currently, they are tap~ tap~ tapping their way to poor keyboarding skills. We are thankful to have iPad devices for the students, however, without proper inputs, these devices may actually do more harm than good when setting foundational skills.

Donating to this project will ensure students are learning keyboarding skills in a way that will help them in the future; on a keyboard, not on a screen!

Students will be able to learn and use proper hand positioning when practicing basic keyboarding drills in Typing class. They will also be given the opportunity to apply the skills while publishing their work with 21st Century tools.
