Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

All different ethnicities make up our school and we are proud to be a strong community school. One hundred percent of our students in our school receive free breakfast and lunch. We have a mixture of English Language Learners throughout the school.

The students take pride in their school and the teachers and staff who work there.

Our school does its best to support our students. We are a well-crafted school that wants to ensure students are receiving a well-rounded education, as well as builds relationships and everlasting characteristics that will shape who they are and prepares them for their future. These students need some tender love and care, and we are proud to provide that support.

My Project

A Microsoft Surface would be an excellent addition to the classroom. It has a wide range of uses throughout the day. The students can use it for break time to play an educational game. They also can use the Surface for their intervention programs. One thing I really would really like to do with the surface is connect it to the Smartboard in the classroom. Students can sit at their seat and manipulate a problem in math or reading.

We are ready to provide "fresh and new" vibe to our technology in our classroom.

This will be a great opportunity to expand our lens of learning through technology. As the teacher, I can also use this in my professional developments to expand my learning as well. The surface has many opportunities awaiting us in the classroom.
