Tye-Dye for All

Help me give my students a unique opportunity to make their own tye-dye tshirt.

My Project

Our goal is to explore how artists can make their own textiles unique through a process of dying fabric. Students will explore color combinations. They will design a pattern. As a bonus they will walk away with a one of a kind piece of art they made. They can wear their shirts and be proud of what they made. It provides them a resource they didn't have before. Now they have an experience and a product. It brings a great smile to their face when they see their shirts finished.
