Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our current school walkie talkies are getting old. Most have broken antennas. I used one that has duct-tape all over it, holding it together. It is sometimes indecipherable, and it is difficult for our school staff to communicate, and I can't help but dread a time when these walkies will be used during emergency situations.
We use our walkie talkies to communicate and coordinate many aspects of our student's school life, but mostly, they are use for student safety.
Safety is a necessity. Students who don't feel safe cannot learn, and walkie talkies are much needed tools that facilitates that. Keeping our campus safe will help our students attain an optimal learning environment. Please help us obtain walkie talkies for the wellness of our school and to promote a safe learning environment.
