My Project
My students often complain that our classroom is too cold and they are totally right. My classroom has an unfortunate situation. We are nestled between two hallways in my building, which creates some difficult challenges, one of them being heat and cooling. The classroom has no windows so we do rely mostly on climate control, which is controlled by our maintenance staff. That being said, we share heat and cooling with several other classrooms on our line. Heat has been a real problem since we hit winter. Our classroom becomes incredibly cold when it's windy outside for reasons I can't explain.
I have been looking for space heaters for our very wide classroom and it has been challenging to find something affordable on the teacher's salary.
These two units, if acquired, would be placed facing my students on either end of the classroom. My female students tend to have the most challenging time with the heat issue.
