My students need two chromebooks to use during intervention to help lower the eductional gap.

My Students

Our school is a Title One school. Title One means that 90% of our students receive free or reduced lunch. Our school is located in a low income area. Our students work very hard every day. Our school has a 97% attendance rate, which means they rarely miss school. My students are very inquisitive and vocal. Many of my students are very active.

Our school is one of the most diverse schools in Memphis, TN.

Our students speak multiple languages including English, Spanish, Arabic, Hindu, Amharic and Swahili. My students have a strong sense of community.

My Project

We are humbly asking for 2 Chromebooks to help reduce the gap between our below students and advanced students. Our school is located in low income community. Students are learning to speak and learn English. Technology can help deliver instruction on their grade level.

Technology can also help my advance students to keep advancing.

Technology is a universal language. Our school is a Title I Tier 1 school and 100% of students receive free lunch. Many students do not have access to technology at home. The Chromebooks would really help these students develop literacy and math skills necessary to become successful students.
