Two Full-Length Mirrors for Performing Arts Conservatory
My students need nine total seven-foot-tall by four-foot-wide mirrors for their performing arts classroom. This project seeks to fund two of these mirrors.
Each year, we enrich the lives of approximately 250 middle and high school students by introducing them to and refining their skills in the performing arts. Whether in theater, dance, or music, we empower them to passionately and artfully communicate. We educate them about the great works of our past, and then we inspire them to become great themselves. Step-by-step through classroom instruction, group projects, home study, school performances, and community events, we develop our young artists.
Our challenge is to grow our existing efforts into a conservatory of the performing arts.
We endeavor to become both a beacon of hope and a center of artistic excellence in the Broward County, Florida community. Regardless of where they started, or their family’s resources, we are providing the tools and the stage to enable children to excel and to succeed.
We’ve assembled a world-class team with an impressive track record, and we’ve collectively made the commitment to pour our hearts and our talents into this effort. We ask for your help. If you’d love to see capable youngsters thriving and optimistic about the future, please help in whatever capacity you are able. Thank you in advance.
My Project
Our Theater, Dance, and Music students need full-length mirrors for their classroom. Even though in this particular project we are only requesting two mirrors, we will ultimately need a total of nine.
The first two mirrors will make a big improvement in our classroom.
These mirrors will cover adjoining walls in one of the primary classrooms where we provide the initial instruction. This room is also used to develop elements of the students' performances and for conducting practice sessions.
Full-length mirrors provide instant feedback to performing arts students, which allows them to quickly make adjustments, improve, and hone their skills.
