My Students
In rural Utah, it is still the untamed west. Students enjoy farming and alternative energy land. My students have grown up in rural Utah. Less than half of these students have been to a zoo. Most of them have a great love for the outdoors and their culture.
My students really need a workstation to work one-on-one with an adult or peer tutor.
This station will be a space that they can work on filling in the gaps created by the Covid-19 pandemic. This space will have the tools necessary for students to practice and be successful.
My Project
I am requesting two study carrel centers so my students can get one-on-one help from an adult. We need a place to sit with a students in a low-distraction way to help them get caught up.
Many of our students have had a traumatic couple years and have experienced learning loss.
My students need a space that is quiet and distraction free to provide one-on-one tutoring. This is a set-up that has two desks where an adult can sit quietly with a student to help them remediate on content and curriculum. This space will have all the supplies students will need such as pencils, calculators, rulers, highlighters, and anchor charts.
