Turning up the Heat in STEAM with Cricut Heat Press

My Project
I am always looking for new activities and experiences for my students during their weekly STEAM lessons. I also love being able to provide students with opportunities in which they can make and take items.
The materials in this project will provide our STEAM room with two Cricut Heat Presses to allow students to make their own items.
Students will use their iPads and the Cricut Design Studio app to create their own designs. Then students will send them designs to the Cricut Machine to have them cut out. The Heat Presses, mat and vinyl generously provided through this project are essential in allowing students the ability to cut out and adhere their designs to their items.
With these presses, students will be able to adhere their designs (with the help of adults!) to hats, shirts, totes and more. I can't wait to see what students create and see them using their personalized items!
