My students are in grades K-5 and they come to see me daily in the special education resource room. There is a wide range of abilities in my classroom. Students that come see me in the resource room often just need a break from learning or we work specifically on their academic goals in reading, writing, math and we also provide support for science and social studies. We do our best to make learning fun and to give students choices that work for them!
The students that come to my room are fun and creative and enjoy different avenues to learn.
I am looking for more tools to make their day better and their time effectively. They will love having the iPads to work on.
My Project
By having access to iPads in my resource room, students can use them in a variety of ways. For students in K-2, they will be able to access games and learning software. For students in grades 3-5, they will be able to use for research, games, voice to text features for writing assignments, video recordings for project and skill and drill games.
Students come in and out of the resource room on a daily basis.
Some days we are working on lessons and sometimes we may be working on their class work or projects. iPads are a great way to keep my students engaged as well as provides a tool to help them learn.
