Turning Pages, Growing Minds

Help me give my students engaging books to build a strong classroom library and foster a lifelong love of reading.”

My Project

My 4th graders are an amazing group of curious, thoughtful, and energetic learners. They love asking questions, sharing their ideas, and exploring new topics together. What makes them truly special is how they support each other and celebrate everyone’s successes. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring so many unique experiences to our classroom, and I want them to see those experiences reflected in the books they read.

My goal for this project is to build a strong, engaging classroom library with books that meet all my students’ needs and interests.

By adding new titles—including stories with diverse characters, exciting adventures, nonfiction topics they’re curious about, and accessible reading levels—I can help every student find books they truly want to read. These books will support their reading skills, expand their understanding of the world, and encourage them to talk about what they’re learning with each other.

These new books will make a real difference in our classroom by creating a space where reading is exciting and meaningful for everyone. When students have access to books they love, they become more confident, motivated readers. Your support will help me give them the tools to build lifelong reading habits and make our classroom a welcoming, inclusive place to learn and grow together.
