My Project
In our classroom, where reading is valued and encouraged the students need a place for every page. Help us build an organized and invited library space! I teach a thoughtful, curious, and diverse group of 8th grade students who come to class each day full of stories, questions, and a desire to understand the world around them. Many are multilingual learners, voracious readers, and are beginning to discover the kinds of books that light them up! We have been so lucky to have built up our library and would love a well organized space to explore reading independently.
This project will help us build that space.
With materials to organize our classroom library we can create an inviting environment where students can easily find books by genre, author, or topic. No more digging through random piles or wandering around confused. With better organization, students will spend more time actually reading and less time searching. These tools will help empower them to self-select books that match their interests and goals—making reading more joyful, more personalized, and more powerful.
