My Project
I love that my students are resilient, curious, and eager to learn when given the right tools. They bring unique perspectives, humor, and determination to every class. My students often face challenges with reading, but they light up when they connect with a story or feel successful in understanding a text.
These class sets of novels will give them the opportunity to read together, discuss ideas, and build confidence in their reading abilities.
Having a shared book means they can participate fully in classroom discussions and experience the joy of connecting throught literature. These resources will help them grow not just as readers, but as thinkers and collaborators.
My goal for this project is to push students into critical thinking and connecting with history and psychology through classical literature. This is often lacking for students with learning disabilities.
