This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Children are naturally curious, and science helps them learn new, exciting things in a fun and hands-on way. Using fun experiments and activities to ask questions and find answers will set our students up with a lifelong love of learning.
It is crucial to provide children with different materials that will tackle into their personal interest and will capture their natural curiosity.
For example, children have a natural interest in animals. Having a set of animals in our science center will allow for conversations about animals, which will lead to learning. With your help we can teach young children learn more about the world around them.
