This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach a group of 5 and 6-year-old students with a lot of diverse needs from several various backgrounds. These students attend a Title I school in a rural area. Many of these students have never attended school and are growing each day from each other and myself. These students thrive on active learning and love hands-on opportunities that engage their different learning styles and characteristics.
The students are eager to come to school each day and learn.
I am excited about the opportunities that they have been provided this year.
My Project
I am a teacher who is very passionate about learning. I am constantly looking for ways to improve my teaching for the betterment of my students.
A teacher must never cease to learn.
Therefore, attending Mega Conference will allow me the opportunity to help my students in my class through the many workshops available.
For many students kindergarten can be a struggle. I believe that I can become a teacher that can bridge gaps and help overcome barriers. I look forward to attending the conference to help all my students advance in the areas they are weak through the valuable knowledge gained at this conference.
