This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The course that I am asking to be funded would further help me in teaching my students how to read. The school that I am currently teaching at has a very strong dyslexia population. Knowing how to help those students would be empowering to both the students and myself.

This course will advise of many different instructional strategies that will help all struggling readers.

This course primarily focuses on dyslexia, but, also provides support in teaching English Language Learners as well. This course would benefit my students greatly by providing them with a well educated teacher that would be able to specialize in dyslexia.
