This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love learning, and they especially love to learn from videos! After years of watching YouTube and other platforms to understand the world around them, it's essential to bring the same kind of learning options to the classroom.
Brainpop and Flocabulary will not only engage my students in learning, but they will also help me teach crucial digital literacy skills.
Both platforms are designed by educators and offer videos plus interactive elements to increase engagement. They are designed with the learning standards in mind and make it easy to supplement our curriculum with fun, relevant content. They also help teach students what to look for in a video that fact fact-based and from a reputable source.
